Designer du jour Alexander Wang and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano are both launching their own cosmetics collections and by the looks of it it’s going to be one HOT TRANNY MESS of a fall!

Siriano who rose to fame via the reality show route, has hooked up with lingerie company Victoria’s Secret (no doubt with a little help from an angel named Heidi Klum) to launch the limited edition Christian Siriano for VS Makeup line.

I really love the eclectic mix of colors used in this collection and for its drugstore-level price, the range looks pretty luxe which is essentially what the designer is very good at- making cheap look chic. I highly recommend the Kajal Eyeliner, perfect for getting that FIERCE wingtip and the ruffled make-up bag reminiscent of the winning avant-garde gown Siriano designed during the season he was in Project Runway both for only US$12 -so you don’t have to say Auf Wiedersehen to your budget.

Coming from last year’s successful collaboration with designer Christopher Kane, Japanese beauty giant Shiseido has partnered this year with up and coming designer Alexander Wang for a 12-piece make-up collection. Just like his urban chic-clothes, his make-up collection boasts of nudes and colors perfect for the uptown party girl. I recommend the eye shadow palette in EYES CREATOR BR364, this combination of 3 eye shadows, eye liner and cream base is perfect for transitioning from corporate to cocktail hour.

Wear it with the Perfect Gloss in PK445 which is one of the best lip products around today as it doesn’t readily stain on contact. If you’re a lipstick kinda gal, try the Moisture Rouge in RS303- a mauve-y color perfect for all skin colors.
