The arrival of THE ONLY SON at Front Row is cause for a knowing nod. They know, you know. Bouncing between Bangkok and New York, TOS’s designer Au Ekbutr Udomphol has worked for Ksubi, Sass & Bibe, and Imitation of Christ. Moving seamlessly from menswear to womenswear and  accessories (we <3), THE ONLY SON combines elements of late 90s minimalism, utilitarian sportwear and androgynous dressing. The unisex jewellery further reinforces the masculine mood. Hexgagon shapes and silver nails are reworked as necklaces, bracelets and rings. These motifs are repeated in the clothing with pieces that feature silver chain details and buttons that mimick the heads of screws. Far from being painfully hip, these are very easy-to-wear  pieces that’s auto-styled. Who’s going to argue against fuss-free styling?

In stores now.
